video gamesVideo games are not just for kids.  Although many love to play them, I know many adults who enjoy them as well.  I am one of the adults who enjoys playing sometimes.  I have wonderful memories of playing video games when I was younger.  I babysat a little girl next door when I was a teenager, and she had a Nintendo console and a few games.  She taught me how to play because I had never had my own game console.  Super Mario Bros quickly became my favorite game.  My little charge knew all the tricks, how to find extra coins, how to find secret worlds, and how to slay dragons.  After playing all night long, my thumbs would be sore for two days afterward.  Now that I'm an adult, I have my own Nintendo console and video games.  I enjoy playing them at times, it's a good way to relax and unwind.  My kids like to play with me sometimes too.  It is a great way to bond with them, doing something we both like.
