lcd flat tv, surround sound systemI love having an LCD flat TV because some of the movies I watch on it make me aware of certain issues and help me to want to be a better person. For instance my husband and I recently watched what I think is an important movie called The Stoning of Soraya M, which is based on a true story on our LCD flat TV. This movie highlights the atrocities that are still taking place in countries like Iran because of the theocracy and Islamic Sharia law that prevails there. I have uploaded the trailer for the movie The Stoning of Soraya M. I sincerely believe it is a movie that the whole world needs to see even though it was very disturbing to watch on our LCD flat TV and hear via our surround sound system. I felt sick on my stomach and it made me very sad and extremely angry first as a human being and second as a woman. Yet I am glad I watched it in such high quality on our large LCD flat TV because it made it all the more real.  This film made me want to get more involved in helping the people of Iran. I have signed a few petitions and joined a few groups. Without my LCD flat TV and other technology I might never know that such atrocities even take place.
