Each type of television has pro's and con's that really should be the deciding factor in buying a home theater LCD flat TV, a Plasma HDTV, a 1080p widescreen HDTV or just a Plasma TV. Before plunking down those hard earned dollars take a few moments to consider if the home theater TV you have your heart set on is suitable for the size of the room you plan to put it in, is this Plasma HDTV a good all around selection for adults and kids TV viewing, and I also would consider the type of programming the new home theater LCD flat TV will be showing most often. Like for kids and video games for example. A eighty inch widescreen home theater TV is not the best choice if video gaming is what the TV will be used most for. If this new home theater Plasma TV will be mainly used by adults watching movies, sporting events and regular TV programming then the rule of thumb is to buy as big a screen size as will comfortable fit the room and your budget. I personally like the new Plasma TV offerings for several reasons. One reason is the cost has continually been coming down from the days when these TV's cost more than most people could afford. Not so now.The Plasma TV set's are able to deliver very accurate colors with minimal blurring when watching fast motion TV programming. Programming such as sporting events and action movies. just my kind of TV viewing the majority of the time. I also like to have the home theater TV mounted on a wall so it is out of reach of little hands. This brings me to a neat item for the kids to use when watching my home theater Plasma TV. The 1-DEVICE KID-FRIENDLY UNIVERSAL REMOTE control I found online at Shop For Home Theater.
home theater, plasma tv  Located online at http://www.shopforhometheater.com/ I found this kids friendly universal remote they can use and this way I will always know, at least hopefully, where the main remote control for the home theater system is at. My two and a half year old grandson likes to play in the dogs water bowl. His mother has told him not to do this so many times but still he insists on plating in just about any supply of water he can find. I found the remote control to my TV in the dogs water dish the last time they visited and as you can imagine I had to buy a new control. Hopefully this children's remote will prevent this from happening again.
