SceneIt 2 Bundle X360
home theater, video gamesFinding Xbox 360 video games the whole family can enjoy is easier said than done. This is a console designed by gamers for gamers. Unlike the Wii where even a grandma could grasp the concept of how to play a tennis game, Xbox 360 controllers are hard to pick up for a person who didn’t grow up with video games. That being said there is a trivia franchise that does away with the standard controller and replaces it with a cool game show looking answer stick for a super fun movie and puzzle title called SceneIt 2 Bundle – Xbox 360. Check out the video game trailer below to get a better idea about what I am talking about.

I actually haven’t played this one but took a spin with the original while staying at a friend’s family house over the summer and it was a blast. There are relevant movie questions, entertainment trivia and puzzles that will have people of any age jumping into it. When I played, there was my friend, myself, his mom, his sister and brother. It is amazing how fast a trivia game will bring out the competitor in people. His mom who is usually a mild mannered nice lady was on the edge of her seat shouting out the answers even before she clicked the button key on the controller. Her son had to keep reminding her that the screen doesn’t understand what she is saying and that is why there is a controller. She would just answer with a big smile on her face.
I found SceneIt 2Bundle within the video game selection of Shop for Home Theater at http://www.shopforhometheater.com/ when looking around for surround sound system components. Right when I saw the video game image pictured above it brought me back to all that fun we had with it at my friend’s house over the summer. I’m surprised it only cost 60 dollars since it comes with a set of trivia remotes.

Buying this would be the perfect family gift to bring to the table come the holidays. After church on Christmas Eve, we are always looking for fun ways to burn the night oil with the entire family before catching some Zzzs prior to Christmas morning. This looks to be a really nice answer to that. Normally we just relax to the Plasma HDTV and home theater while a festive movie plays but this would be a much better way to get everyone laughing.
