I have five children, and they just love to play video games. I'm very happy that they don't play constantly, they like to go outside a lot too. But, their favorite indoor activity is playing video games. They have so many video games, they can't get bored.
My girls have video games geared towards girl's interests, like characters from their favorite shows. Of course there are video games that they can learn from as well, which makes learning fun. I rather they play the fun educational games so they're not wasting time and energy, of course. My boys have all the football, sports, car racing and fighting games they could ever want. Some are educational, but most are just for fun. These video games provide for hours of enjoyment and lots of quiet in the house when they are inside playing.
Video games make for great gifts during the holidays and kids' birthdays. We know what games they have already and they let us know which ones they want of course. With video games, we can never go wrong in buying gifts for the kids.
