video games, surround sound systemDo you like to play video games? Have you ever played video games on a TV that is equipped with a surround sound system? There is something awesome about video games in surround sound that has left me hooked for life. I used to only play video games on my older tube TV that didn’t have more than two stereo speakers in it. While this served to whet my video game loving appetite, it is worlds apart from being able to enjoy your favorite games with a 5.1 surround sound system. There are some games that are just invigorating and exceptional when you are surrounded by amazing sound and audio clarity on all sides. Games like war games, shooters and sports games rank amongst my favorite to play in these conditions. Shooters, for example, really seem a whole lot more realistic when you can hear the gunfire all around you and it sounds real; the same thing goes for war games with the tank turrets creaking, officers barking orders and so on. Sports games sound like you are actually in the arena with the team on the field. In fact, nearly every game that I have ever played for the next generation consoles sounds much better with through a surround sound system.
