I had never heard about this before – nor had I ever envisioned that in my lifetime this would happen – but there are newer portable video games consoles that allow users to even log onto the internet and surf major search engines and websites. Can you believe that? Both Sony and Nintendo make a portable video game platform that logs onto a secured wireless network and allows gamers to play against each other, provided that they are both playing the same video games on their portable console. But better yet, the Sony console even allows users to log onto some websites free of charge, like Google. Now kids on the go, and adults like me who love portable video games, can actually access the World Wide Web free of charge and look up cool facts, pictures, and even watch movies on the popular video file sharing websites, or send their friends a status update on the larger social networking websites. It seems like portable video games are not just game consoles anymore. Rather, they are ultra compact, sleek and modern computers, awesome!
