During the summer, I like to spend time with my kids watching our home theater. We have a huge collection of DVD movies and the kids take turns choosing one each day. Sometimes I buy a new movie to watch on the home theater, too. We watch together on the home theater and pop some popcorn and have soft drinks. It's a great way to spend time with them and occupy them when they get bored during long summers. We hang out and talk about the movie after it's over, which is a great time of bonding and conversation. Having a home theater is wonderful, so we can do this every day during the hottest part of the day. I couldn't afford to take five kids out to a theater every day, and even if I could I prefer watching a home theater. We can pause the movie for breaks if needed, and the snacks cost so much less at home. The picture on my home theater is actually clearer and better than that of the movie theater.
